Join Us for Kingston’s Food Growing Celebration – Call for Participants!
We are excited to announce a full-day celebration of Kingston’s achievements and potential in food growing on June 14th! This vibrant event will showcase local talent, community organizations, and sustainability initiatives—all centered around the theme of “grow your own.”
📢 We are looking for:🌱 Stall holders offering locally made products (jams, cakes, chutneys, fresh produce, and more)🎭 Performers from community groups and arts schools🛠️ Facilitators & demonstrators for workshops on beekeeping, composting, pest management, fiber spinning, and more🙌 Volunteer stewards to help make the day a success
The event will feature a main stage with entertainment, a tent hosting talks and demonstrations, and a marketplace of community-led stalls sharing knowledge on sustainable food growing and environmental awareness.
