New Malden Celebrates Cultural Heritage
A beautiful ceramic mural celebrating the cultural heritage of New Malden has been officially recognized by the Deputy Mayor of Kingston. The mural, now proudly displayed at the New Malden Train Station Car Park, serves as a vibrant tribute to both the past and present of this diverse and thriving community.
The mural is the result of a collaborative effort between local residents, community organizations, and talented artists. Special thanks are due to the New Malden Residents Association and Transport for London for securing the wall space, making this artistic project a reality.
The mural was brought to life by artists Carrie Reichardt and Karen Francesca, whose vision and creativity have produced a piece that perfectly encapsulates the rich history and cultural diversity of New Malden.
